Storm is on a mission with an unlikely ally, to show how the world could look if instead of being made examples of, mutants were viewed as examples to be followed. For her part, Storm goes back to her roots; to her home country in Africa. What shape has coexistence with mutants taken across this great continent, and what will Storm encounter- -a Wakandan King? What would this look like in the FOX X-Men world?
Storm Chronicles
Jacilon "OfAll' Chreyz is a mutant of First Nations decent working in an outreach centre in inner city New York. On both a character and story scale, what does the world of mutants
and the X-Men look like through indigenous eyes? What unheard stories are waiting to
be told?
Jacilon "OfAll" Chreyz Spin-Off Series
The world of the X-Men takes on many parallels. Much has been made, for example, on the LGBTQ+ community, including multiple and popular characters coming out. But what of the parallel of disability?
Like the alternate ending from Dark Phoenix where we see what driving looks like for Charles Xavier, what other "regular, day-to-day" experiences exist for individuals who must never uncover their eyes; who feel the climate in their bones; who have a tail, a different look to their digits, or an otherwise irregular physical structure. Is Wolverine the only one who experiences a compromising trade-off (e.g. pain) every time he unleashes his power?
General Nuance for Envisionings
============
If you're a diverse creator interested in thought-invoking entertainment, with a penchant for sci-fi character dramas with action, and find these storylines calling out to your voice, I look forward to counting you as an Envisioner!
Xtensive knowledge of the X-Men would be facilitating, though is not required.
I can cover the fictional scope if you can provide the authentic perspective.
